I am not making much jewelry now. I only work on commission and only if the patron likes the way Iím working now. One thing I currently do is, a surface treatment that is more sculptural where I leave much of the work marks; I donít use machines to polish the piece. I donít want my pieces to look like commercial jewelry. I use hand burnishes and scrapers, much the way jewelry was finished before electricity. As you can see in the bracelet AMERICAN SUN, I have machine polished the inside to the tenth degree to accentuate the surface treatment.
